Teaching English as a Foreign Language Jobs in the Czech Republic

The Czech Republic and its capital city of Prague are immensely popular with TEFL teachers from all over the world. Its fairy-tale ambience, with historic buildings and beautiful squares has inspired teachers for decades making it a first class TEFL destination. However, it is no longer possible to walk in off the street without a TEFL qualification and just land yourself a job. You do need to get TEFL qualified and the more hours you do the better! Getting work in Prague can be highly competitive but we can help you if you wish. Also, outside of Prague, the rest of the country is a delight and great to visit.

To teach English in the Czech Republic you need a  minimum of a 20-hour TEFL Certificate, a positive and pro-active attitude and as long as you're TEFL qualified, a degree is not necessary, though a strong educational background is prefered. We are actively recruiting for these positions all year round.

I like how everything was explained clearly and simply (not complicated or in too much detail) and the topics that it covered were relevant and interesting. My tutor, Tim West was absolutely amazing! He was very helpful and always gave me a chance to correct whatever I'd done wrong and improve my skills. Sabrina Sadie Jones
