30-hour grammar course
The 30-hour online grammar course has been written by us to give you a thorough grounding in the grammar terminology and rules you will need as a first-time teacher.
When we started teaching, like you, we could speak the grammar, but were not overly familiar with the terms and rules. So, we have put together everything we found we needed to know in our first few years of teaching.
The course is completely online and can be taken from any computer and totally in your own time. The course consists of a series of lessons followed by activities to test your learning.
Grammar Guru
Before you become a grammar guru yourself, you will have access to a real person to ask any questions you may have about the course.
Don't worry, the Grammar Guru doesn't usually wear his blue underpants while he is working.
About the course
The course is made up of 4 units: covering nouns, verbs, describing speech and sentences.
You will be looking at tenses, conditionals, auxiliaries and modals to name but a few.
Each of the four areas are broken up into manageable lessons and activities that you work through at your own pace.
You have 6 months to complete the course, which means you can take the course while you are working. It also means you have the time to assimilate the theory. You will also receive a certificate showing that you have completed 30 hours of grammar and language awareness study.
Booking your course
You can enrol on the course after taking your online TEFL course or include it as part of your initial enrollment (You save money that way!)

22/02/2010: Making the most out of your job interview By Joe Hallwood“This is my first online course - I enjoyed it. The online system obviously allowed me to work at my own pace and time. The course was comprehensive and followed on well from the weekend course. The unit notes and the instructions were clear. A very good introduction to an online course and TEFL teaching. Thanks.” Apkar Salatian
